Here at Atlas Obscura HQ, we are busily hatching ideas and planning the local explorations calendar. We have LOTS of good ideas, but we could use more brains and more locals to help us set up adventures, network with fellow explorers, and organize expeditions.

Field Agents are the on-the-ground core of the Obscura Society, working with us to come up with local adventures and make them happen. We are looking for organized, enthusiastic locals armed with a list of strange and wonderful places near them, and the desire to take a bunch of like-minded curious people out to investigate. 

We are currently recruiting curious locals to join our teams in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York—but even if you are not in one of these three fine cities we’d love to hear from anyone who is interested and enthusiastic.
