FOUND: Extremely Creepy Masks Hidden in a Boston Subway Station
While renovating the Government Center subway station in Boston, construction workers came across a hollow section of concrete, the Boston Globe reports. Inside, there was a red-and-blue ball of dirty cloth. Unfurled, the ball turned into an even creepier find: two cloaks, dotted with stars, with ghoulish masks stitched into them.
It’s not clear where these trash wizards came from, but the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) does know that this section of concrete was poured 60 years ago, which means that these cloaks have been there for decades.
Bonus finds: Coffin full of caviar, cave lions, mysterious whales, tiny bejeweled elephant, hungover cat
