This week we have a photo from user SkareMedia who was able to grab this stunning shot of one of Turkey’s Lycian Rock Tombs while on one of his globe-trotting expeditions. SkareMedia gave us a little more insight into his experience shooting this colorful crypt:

“The tombs are dotted around the city’s outskirts and there is a loosely marked trail connecting them. While walking the trail I counted no less than 4 tortoise and also stopped to shoot a BB gun with some local kids. This is the largest of the rock tombs and you are able to enter inside through the broken panel you can see in the photo, however inside there is nothing but a big stone slab and some graffiti.”

Thanks to all of our adventurous users who keep submitting such amazing shots! Want to have your photograph featured? Keep adding your captures to our ever-growing compendium of wondrous places (just click the “Edit This Place” link at the bottom of each place). And watch here each Friday for another Photo of the Week.
