Arraba Statue of Liberty

Entering the small Israeli town of Arraba via the western entrance, visitors are greeted by a singular vision of Lady Liberty, simply whiter and a bit wider than usual.  

Standing 15-feet tall, the statue is situated near a local restaurant and has rather nebulous origins. But no matter where it came from, one thing is for sure, it looks like it was made of mashed potatoes. The… interesting interpretation of Lady Liberty may have come from almost nowhere, but it is a mainstay of nearly any round up of Statue of Liberty replicas, despite non of them having much of any information about the tall statue. 

While the body of the figure seems to be made of some sort of plaster or stone, both the crown and torch look like they are made of some type of metal. Whoever made the statue, made it to last.

Unlike almost all of the other Statue of Liberty replicas across the globe, the Lady in Arraba’s stone construction almost looks like it was built specifically to fit in with the surrounding architecture.
