Mississippi State University’s Chapel of Memories is an iconic piece of architecture in the heart of campus.
Constructed from salvaged bricks from the 1959 fire that destroyed the Old Main Dormitory, it is an integral part of MSU history. The Old Main Dormitory was once one of the largest dormitories in the United States at the time.
Know Before You Go
Since the Chapel is located on the MSU campus, parking can be a challenge. The easiest option for visitors is the park at Barnes and Noble in the timed visitor lot and walk the five minutes to the Chapel.
Be sure to visit in the spring when the dogwoods and crepe myrtles are in full bloom.
