Gratitude Garden at ArtiSun Gallery
An art instillation for the sake of "raising vibrations."
Tucked in the historic Iron Horse Station building in Hot Springs, North Carolina, the ArtiSun Gallery and Marketplace is home to a Gratitude Garden. This installation was constructed by story-collage artist, Mary Morgaine, in order to “raise the vibration.” It holds in it a “gratitude urn.” Here, you have the option to write down on a small piece of paper what specifically you are thankful for and to plant this paper in the urn.
ArtiSun also hosts a weekly “Farm Fresh Thursday”, offering a menu that includes fresh organic vegetables, sustainable ocean caught fish, shitake mushrooms, and fresh goat milk yogurt among other local tasty treats, such as the homemade granola. The café is provided with delicious baked goods exclusively by Butter & Eggs Bakery, which is owned by local Wendy Stancil. Appalachain Fair Trade Coffee is the choice of brew here, and a portion of its proceeds is dontated to the Appalachain Trail which passes by the gallery’s front door. In addition, ArtiSun carries a large assortment of local and organic wines, Shakti Raw chocolate, and Buchi Mama kombucha.
Know Before You Go
The Appalachian trail is 20 paces to the right. So the trail passes by, but not directly in front of the artisun.
