The main city library between 1966 and 2010 before joining the King County Library System, the Renton Public Library was designed by Johnston-Campanella & Company. It is around 80 feet long and resides on 12 giant columns that are anchored into the river. It was truly an amazing engineering feat for the time.

During the fall, the library is a wonderful place to watch the salmon spawning.
