Established in 1982, the California Trolley and Railroad Corporation (CTRC), is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the fascinating history of the Santa Clara Valley railways, determined to protect its legacy for future generations, both for education and recreation.

Located at the south end of Kelley Park at the corner of Senter Road and Phelan Avenue, History San Jose offers 27 original and reproduction homes, businesses and landmarks highlighting Santa Clara Valley’s past. Complete with paved streets and operating trolleys. Visit the Trolley Barn and see the horse drawn street car, trolley cars, antique vehicles and railroad inspection car. Let the volunteers show you around. Then take a step back in time while riding the historical streetcars.

Trolleys operate on Saturday and Sundays on the tracks within the museum grounds and along Senter road, with stops at the Japanese Friendship Garden and Happy Hollow Park & Zoo
